My sister might have a counter-point to your argument. She has vocally berated the fashion industry on behalf of broad-hipped and slender women the world over. Don’t get her started on bathing suit shopping. I recall vividly sitting as a child in the women’s bathing suit section of the department store as my mother tried to assuage my sister’s white hot anger at not being able ot find a bathing suit that fit her upstairs and downstaris (that means boobs and butt in polite guy-talk).
